Service Description

This course opens the door to the invisible world all around us. Using high quality microscopes, students will zoom in on the building blocks of life and materials, learning how to observe, prepare, and analyze specimens just like real scientists. Through engaging, hands-on labs, learners will: • Master microscope usage and techniques, from focusing to magnification. • Prepare and examine slides of cells, tissues, and cultures. • Explore fascinating microscopic organisms like tardigrades (water bears). • Grow and observe crystals and cultures to study structure and growth. • Investigate the building blocks of life by looking at DNA and cellular structures.
